Under ‘Bihar Reyasati Waqf Taraqquiati Scheme’. The State Government of Bihar will be allotted fund for the construction of multipurpose Buildings, Marriage Halls, Shops, Market, Hostels etc on the waqf land. The Waqf Properties which would be developed be taken under direct control of Board u/s 32 of Waqf Act 1995. After development of the waqf properties under this scheme the expenditure amount will be recovered from its income and then, it will be handed over to Motawalli/ Managing Committee/ Manager etc. of the concerned waqf estates. The Board will constitute an Advisory Committee with regard to development and proper management of the proposed waqf property.
The landed properties of waqf estate shall not be transferred to the Government for implementation of this Scheme. Under Bihar State Waqf Development Scheme, State Government of Bihar is providing two types of fund:-
